ODST Base Armour 3D Models for Cosplay Armour Inspired by Halo 3: ODST
The Orbital Drop Shock Trooper is a force to be reckoned with. Would you want to mess with a person who wakes up in the morning, climbs into a rocket to be shot at a planet and then go fight whatever? This file pack is the base armour to create any ODST as they appear in Halo 3: ODST, both named and unnamed characters alike. In conjunction with this file pack add ons can be purchased to make specific characters as they appear in universe.
This file pack includes all files and references and planning materials to undertake a large build such as a full suit of armour. Files included in this pack include 3D printing files as well as certain flexible regions that can be created using flexible printing materials, moulded parts (moulds in file pack) or out of foam using included Pepakura files. The included files in this base armour pack can be used to make the following armour components.
-ODST Plate Carrier
-ONI Operative Plate Carrier
-ODST Gauntlets (flexible printing or moulds for gaskets)
-ODST Glove Covers (flexible material printing or moulded)
-ODST Standard Shoulder
-ODST Belt (Belt buckles both male and female variant, Tassets with Flashbangs, Tailbone Plate, Undersuit Adjustment Strapping)
-ODST Thighs (flexible printing or moulds for gaskets)
-ODST Shins with removable Heel Plate
-ODST Boot Covers
File formats included:
-.xls for build planning
-.stl for 3D printing
-.pep for Pepakura foamsmithing or sewing patterns
-.pdf CAD drawing for assembly reference
-.7z 7zip compressed files to guarantee highest model quality while fitting within file size limits for digital products, may require install of 7-Zip to unpack files.
The model is broken into several smaller pieces for ease of printing and fits most common FDM printer beds. If the included files do not properly fit within your print volume, feel free to contact me at chris@skookumprops.ca to help you find a solution.
